The River Trail

Greg and Joshua checking out the water.

Joshua looking so serious.

Joshua and Grandma

Getting the feet a little wet. I love his toes!

Everyone took a turn going down the hill on Joshua's scooter.

Wow! That was fast!

Until Dad took his turn...

And that was the end of the scooter.

But all was o.k. because Joshua found the train tracks!

The Botanical Gardens-Part II

The Botanical Gardens-Part I

Another beautiful, Spring Break day!

Joshua and Grandma off to explore. Actually, I think they were in search of a restroom!

A very rare thing...a photo of moi!

And one of Greg.

And the kiddos.

The hat was a hoop. Joshua had fun throwing the ball, trying to make a basket. Lucky for Madi, it was a small, soft ball!

An Afternoon in the Park

While Grandma was here for Spring Break, we headed to the park for a picnic.

A little refreshment.

A nice walk.

Some scooter riding (on the new scooter).

Thinking by the pond.

It was a beautiful day, full of fun for everyone.

Joshua's First Awards

Joshua received his first awards from school this week. Being the great mother that I am, I had completely forgotten about the Awards Reception for Reflections. Luckily, I happened to be working at his school that day and heard his name called out over the announcements. I was able to run to the library and be there with him. He was so cute about it, and very proud of himself! Aren't we all?! He won 4th., 5th., and 6th. place in Photography. Way to go Joshua!!

Cowboy Day

Last Tuesday was Cowboy Day at Joshua's school. Not sure why exactly, but any excuse for Josh to wear his chaps (thanks Laurie!) is a good thing.

He always feels the need to strike this pose when dressed as a cowboy!

Hey, there tough guy!

Family Night - Jenga Style

Dad being oh so careful!

Madi concentrating real hard.

And then, they all came tumbling down. Joshua won't play this anymore. He just watches. It stresses him out too much, all the worrying about when they might fall.

It's a good thing Madi had made treats for all of us! Sugar cookies, Joshua's favorite.

Two thumbs up! A successful FHE!
