Madi's last golf tournament was last Monday. She did well and had some really great shots!

Poor thing, her bag is about as big as she is or even bigger! 
She is sad to be finished with the season, but is now looking forward to playing for the fun of it!
This morning was Award Day for Joshua. He came home with awards for Reflections, Reading Minutes, All-Star Mathmatics, and Science. Way to go, Joshua!! We are so proud of you! You are so ready for 1st. Grade!

Today Joshua got to spend the day at the park with his kindergarten class and Dad!
They played all kinds of games and had a cook out for lunch. They had a blast spending the day together. Greg is already asleep on the couch! I think Joshua wore him out! **Be sure to pause/stop the music before playing the video.**
Here is part of Madi's second piano piece. I can't get the bigger file to load. She played "Gigue" by Bach and "How to Save a Life" by the Fray. She wasn't thrilled with her performance, but we think she did great! Can you guess which piece this is?

Last night was Joshua's first piano recital. He was all ready to go! He had practiced "The Honeybee" and "Cuckoo" to near perfection. But what we hadn't taken into account was how nervous/scared he might be. He did a great job, but was definitely a bit nervous.
I am still trying to add Madi's video. It is a bit longer, maybe too long. I'll keep trying.
We headed to the Ballpark Friday night. The weather was wonderful, and the Rangers won! A perfect night! #10, Michael Young, is Madi's favorite. She has loved him for years!!

The night ended with fireworks. It was the first time that Joshua actually enjoyed them. He was amazed by it all!
Today was Crazy Hair Day for Joshua. His team for Field Days is Red, so he wanted red hair. Madi helped him out with some of her stash. The color isn't too hot in these photos, but it looked great! And he was thrilled! Now, hopefully it will all come out. When she did this for Halloween, he ended up with blue hair for awhile!
This is what I saw as I was driving home from school yesterday. My two boys mowing the lawn. I LOVE it!!

I found Joshua doing some cleaning of his own the other day. I guess he thought I could use some help since I have been working at the school so much.
He is much more thorough than I am!
And was totally serious the entire time.
The funny thing is that last night he spilled yogurt on the kitchen floor. When I told him he would need to clean it up, he said, "I'm not a mom, Mom." I guess he needs to help out a bit more often!
Well, my baby girl is all grown up! She attended her first "official" Stake dance last Saturday. She had a blast, but was pretty disappointed that the ratio of girls to guys was about 5:1. That was just fine for Mom and Dad!

This was the scene at our dinner table the other evening. It's good to know that they still love and, more in important, like each other enough to stay handcuffed without killing each other! Of course, this was Joshua's idea. They stayed handcuffed until she had to leave for her YW activity that night.
