Madi's Shots

Madison was outside the other day taking pics. of the flowers/butterflies. Of course, Joshua had to get in front of the camera, too.

I love this one!! Not too sure how she did it, but love it!

This one, too!

I think she is planning on using some of them for the Reflections Contest this year. The theme is "Beauty is...". Well done, Madi!

A Trip to the Aquarium

Grandmas came out for a visit before school started. We visited the Dallas Aquarium while she was here. It is amazing, and the kids LOVE it! They have all kinds of animals, not just fish.

Joshua checking out the turkey.

The sharks were by far Joshua's favorite. He could have stayed there the entire time!

It is so fun to have them swimming over you. Madi loved it, too. Bt the penguins were her favorite.

Joshua was amazed the whole time! It was a great day, and a really fun visit with Grandma.

Spelling

Joshua doesn't enjoy having a spelling test each Friday. But he does enjoy practicing with the shaving cream!

More Tennis

Tennis has been going well for Madi. It is sure keeping her busy (and us)! They are almost finished with their Fall season. Hopefully, she will get some time off before they start gearing up for Spring season.
Joshua is usually a bit nervous around dogs (he gets it from his dad). One of Madi's team mates has this huge dog. Joshua immediately fell in love with him! He can't wait to see him at the matches.

A Visitor

So, it isn't the best picture, but if you look close you can see it. A Peregrine Falcon has been hanging around lately. A few neighbors had spotted it, and then one day Greg found him in our backyard. He was having a little snack (another bird). He stayed there for about 30 mins. And all he left behind was a ton of feathers from the other bird. What a mess! He was huge though!!

First Day of School

O.k. I know it has been forever! Things have been busy around here. I will try to get better about posting. This is Joshua all ready for his first day of 1st. grade!

And Madi ready to tackle High School! I can't believe she is a freshman this year.
