Joshua's Scarecrow

Joshua had his second Family Project for the year, a scarecrow. He knew exactly how he wanted it to look. Dad was in charge of the pants. Joshua and Madi did the head and hat. We all worked on the shirt, and Mom was in charge of the gluing.

Oh, yeah. And all of the hay!! What a mess!

Madi wanted to put a bird on his shoulder, but Joshua wouldn't go for it. He had the final say, and so the bird didn't make it!

The scarecrow turned out great, and Joshua was pleased with his creation! I think he loves getting to tell us what to do more than anything!

How fun! I want to know more about your Family Projects. Do you each get to pick something?
