Great Wolf Lodge

We headed out to Grapevine for a stay at Great Wolf Lodge. We all had an absolute blast! Even though Joshua didn't get to stay for "three days two nights"! Where does this kid come up with these things?

The kids both loved their little "den" with their own T.V. and Nintendo!

We hit the water park first for a few hours, then dried off for a few games of BINGO and some dinner. Joshua had never played before and thought it was the greatest! When you won, you had to howl like a wolf instead of yelling BINGO. Joshua didn't need any encouraging!

Madi stole my card at the beginning, but then ended up losing really bad! That'll teach her! In the end, our family came away with 2 wins. We even won a new card game which was perfect for us, especially since we had forgotten to bring any this time.

Joshua couldn't wait to get started on his "MagiQuest". I think the kids might have enjoyed this more than the indoor waterpark, especially Madi! By the end of the night, Joshua or rather "Surfer Dude" had made the top 10 list for most gold, most runes, and most experience. Not too shabby for a 5 year old! Of course, the fact that Mom and Madi stayed up until 11 doing it didn't help at all!

Joshua listened to Madi read the clues. And then was off searching! Who knows how many flights of stairs we ran up and down between the 8 floors over the two days!

Some waterpark fun! The place was pretty much empty most of the time we were there. Yeah, no lines to wait in!!

I love Joshua and his thumbs up!

We all had a blast! It was a nice break together as a family! Joshua is already asking when we can go back again!

Looks like great family time! The water park looks awesome!

Glad Greg is home safe and sound. You need to email us and tell us about his adventures in India. How long was he there? Why was he there? I've enjoyed seeing the pictures he's posted. kmgregson@yahoo.com
I feel badly about the fact that we're really out of touch with you guys. It's been a lot of years...
